Key Performance Areas:
The Sales Representative will report to the Branch Manager of Durban and will be accountable for the following:
- External and internal sales
- Servicing existing client base
- Developing new client base
- Stock control of shop
- Working in store and on site at equestrian facilities, some weekend shows included
- Working in store on Saturdays, and some Sundays (in the case of shows) and Public Holidays
- Accurate and up to date performance of all administrative duties that arise from the generation of sales
Requirements / Attributes:
- Equestrian background essential
- Open to learning new skills and product information
- Sales experience will be an advantage
- Customer service orientated
- Valid matric certificate
- Valid light motor vehicle drivers licence
- Computer literate
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), additional languages are highly advantageous
- Able to work unsupervised
- Performance driven
- Systematic and adaptable
- Able to recognise, analyse and solve problems
- Passionate and knowledgeable about the equine industry
- Be willing to learn about and service all disciplines in the equine industry
- Be able to work under pressure and as part of a team
- Be able to work overtime if necessary
- Maintain and uphold the ethics of Western Shoppe
- Be able to maintain client and company confidentiality
- South African Citizen
- Clear credit and criminal records
