The Bombers Tom Thumb Colin Miles is an ideal schooling bit combines benefits of a normal gag with even pressure.

Tom Thumb cheekpiece is similar to gag or ring bits, introducing poll pressure while creating leverage on the mouthpiece.

This particular design however instead of additional rings at the bottom, it has an extended shank with a ring at the end.

The extended shank is bent and set to run at 45 degrees, this effect eases up pressure on the poll and aids leverage on the mouthpiece.

Colin Miles mouthpiece exerts more pressure than an elliptical or control plate.
