The fetlock boot features double ventilation that ensures the horse’s legs is kept cool for optimal performance during training and competition.
This Kevlar style boot shares the double ventilation system of the Veredus Carbon Gel Vento boots to ensure the horse’s legs are in optimum condition to reach his full potential.
This is achieved by the innovative sandwich of materials that make up the Vento hind boots.
The inner layer (in contact with the horse’s leg) is a two-way stretch fabric for maximum comfort. The middle layer is AEROX, a micro-perforated neoprene, designed to facilitate the removal of heat.
The outer layer is a special 3D mesh ducted fabric, designed to facilitate the upward removal of heat.
The shock resistant shell has an air inlet at the bottom and an extractor vent at the top.
The heat released from the horse’s leg passes through the inner and neoprene layer and is then distributed in the 3D mesh ducted fabric. Fresh air enters through the air inlet as a result of the horse’s movements, and pushes the heat, accumulated in the ducted fabric, upwards to the outlet.
Ventilation is therefore horizontal – from the inside outwards – and vertical – from the bottom upwards – an innovative technology, new to horse boots.
The boot has a perfectly anatomical shape that guarantees maximum comfort and perfect positioning on the horse’s limb.
A carbon support inserted in the shell and a nitrex gel pad provides maximum protection at the fetlock, an area at particular risk of injury and bruising.
The addition of the synthetic Kevlar material that is lightweight, impact-resistant, hard-wearing and five times stronger than steel ensures your horse’s legs superior protection.
An adjustable quick closure system with elastic straps makes them extremely practical to put on and remove.
