The 3D Hoofcare Half Mesh Degree pad is designed to be used with digital impression material to help re-align the horse’s hoof pastern axis angle.
The hoof pad includes a 3-degree wedge that allows you to raise the hoof angle when the horse’s conformation or a hoof injury causes the hoof angle to be low relative to the pastern angle.
Designed to assist horses that need bony column support, such as horses that suffer from laminitis.
The design allows the frog to share a portion of the load, thereby reducing the load placed on other areas of the hoof.
The pad also helps to maintain the position of the frog relative to other hoof structures.
