Description
The Dexter ring bit is a stainless-steel bit designed especially for racing.
The thin, large loose ring acts as a second bit and encircles the lower jaw, helping to control extreme pulling and lugging by the horse.
The small central ring connects the two mouthpieces, reducing the nutcracker action of the snaffle mouthpiece.
This is a very strong bit and as such is usually only used on headstrong racehorses.
