Description

Equilox Hoof Support Impression Material is formulated to provide long lasting and resilient sole and frog support. The product aids in treating laminitis or dropped foot.

EHS Soft Pink is a two-part polymer that mixes with the consistency of modelling clay. In the ‘as mixed’ state the polymer can be moulded to the bottom of the hoof, contacting nearly all of the frog and sole. After about 10 minutes the polymer will set to the consistency of soft rubber. After setting the horse will apply weight to the hoof and the force will be applied evenly to the entire bottom of the hoof without pressure points.

It is recommended that EHS Soft Pink is used with a pad or plate. The product is not adhesive to the hoof and must be held in place with a pad or hospital plate.

Cure time: 6 — 8 minutes at 21° Celsius.

Shelf life: At least 6 months from the fill date indicated on the label — or longer if refrigerated. Freezing will not affect the product, but be sure that the product is at room temperature before mixing.
