Description
The Mustad FJ slim nail is a very modern style nail with an extra slim shank, extra long blade, short neck and low head. The design of the FJ slim nail is very fluent in all transitions from head to neck to shank. It is ideally shaped for shoeing race horses since the fit of the FJ nail is optimal in thinner typed shoes. The FJ blade is designed for thinner and light-weight shoes, the extra slim blade is especially for those horses with a poor hoof wall condition where the farrier wants to reduce hoof wall displacement to a maximum. Furthermore, the extra length nail provides the possibility to nail higher in the hoof. High nailing may prevent hoof wall damage in case the horse steps out of its shoe. Length: 40.5mm.
