Description
Drive in stud made out of steel with a hardened body (diameter 9,8/8mm and height 11mm) and welded tungsten carbide insert. This stud is easy to apply. Drill a hole in the shoe with a 9.1mm drill bit. Place the stud on top of the hole and drive it down with a softened hammer. Leave a gap of about 1mm between the stud head and the shoe preventing the stud from coming loose. The stud can be reused by tapping it loose and applying it again as previously described.
This stud is suitable for protection when the shoe wear is excessive or when light traction is preffered. Normally two studs are placed in the toe and one in each heel.
