SEN Post Workout is a specialist formulation that assists in optimal muscle functioning, by providing essential amino acids for muscle repair and nutrients to improve lactic acid recycling, which is particularly useful for performance horses.
This effective formulation includes a unique blend of amino acids which have been scientifically proven to limit exercise induced muscle damage, aid in muscle recovery post exercise and support protein synthesis.
HMB (hydroxy methyl butyrate) is a leucine metabolite that has been studied in horses and found to reduce blood creatine kinase and lactic acid after exercise, therefore assisting in reducing exercise induced muscle damage. L- Leucine has been shown to aid in the recovery process and in glycogen replacement, reducing muscle soreness following exercise. L-Lysine is required for muscle recovery and growth.
It also provides essential vitamins and minerals for optimal muscle and nerve functioning. Natural Vitamin E and Organic Selenium are important anti-oxidants which supports muscle function and health through their free radical neutralising action, while Magnesium and Calcium supports nerve functioning and muscle relaxation, allowing greater flexibility.
