The Sprenger Sensogan KK Ultra snaffle is manufactured from the newly developed SENSOGAN® material exclusively available from Sprenger Germany. The new bit material developed by Sprenger is the result of additional development and consequent improvement of their original bit material – Aurigan. It is the distinctive composition of copper, manganese and zinc that makes SENSOGAN® so special. With a reduced copper content, the oxidation process is still maintained, however, the newly developed combination with manganese is what makes the difference. This combination results in a smoother and more regulated process of oxidation. Tests show a very positive influence on the horse’s satisfaction, motivation and willingness to perform. The copper discharge quantity into the horse’s saliva is reduced considerably, which helps to preserve the bit’s white gold colour for a longer period of time.
The Dynamic RS bits are characterised by an ergonomically shaped mouthpiece. The bits lie perfectly in the horse’s mouth, resulting in soft and even pressure on the entire tongue area, encouraging the horse to chew. In addition, the ergonomically formed mouthpiece allows a rapid and balanced effect on the tongue. This bit supports the contact to the corners of the horse’s mouth in an effective manner, keeping the horse on the bit. At the same time the gentle joint in the middle, which is angled forward by 45 degrees, the characteristic feature of the patented KK Ultra bits, makes it an easily accepted bit for most horses. The fine lozenge can direct gentle pressure pivotally onto the tongue. The bit encourages the confidence of the horse in the rider’s hand. Sizes: 5′ and 5.5′.
