The Veredus Save the Sheep Carbon Gel Vento boots form part of the new Techno Sheepskin line from Veredus. The Techno Sheepskin is 100% man-made and free of any animal derivative.

The boot’s interior liner dries quickly and is easy to wash, unlike the real lamb skin. In addition, a wide knit system has been designed to facilitate the escape of sand, greatly reducing abrasion on the horse’s limb. Aesthetically the Techno Sheepskin also resists much more than real lambskin, does not yellow with time, does not stiffen and maintains great wearing comfort.

The Veredus Carbon Gel Vento hind boots by Marcus Ehning is the first fetlock boot with double ventilation that ensures the horse’s legs are kept cool for optimal performance during training and competition. Forming part of the Nero Line range of Veredus products, Carbon Vento is an addition to the famous Carbon Gel collection.

The success of Carbon Vento lies in the innovative sandwich of materials that make up the boot’s padding. The inner layer, in contact with the horse’s leg, is a two-way stretch fabric for maximum comfort. The middle layer is AEROX micro-perforated neoprene, the micro holes perpendicular to the leg are designed to facilitate the removal of heat while the outer layer is in special 3D mesh ducted fabric. The very wide mesh and the 3D fabric facilitate the upward removal of heat.

The shock-resistant shell has an air inlet at the bottom and an extractor outlet at the top. The heat released from the horse’s leg passes through the inner and neoprene layer and is then distributed in the 3D mesh ducted fabric. Fresh air enters through the air inlet as a result of the animal’s movements, and pushes the heat, accumulated in the ducted fabric, upwards to the outlet grille. Ventilation is therefore horizontal – from the inside outwards – and vertical – from the bottom upwards.
