Horses vary in shape and size, the correct fit of a rug is therefore important to ensure the comfort of your horse and to prevent rubbing and slippage when your horse is wearing his rug. If your horse falls between two rug sizes it is usually better to go up a size than down, unless the horse is narrow chested or slight of build. To determine the correct rug size for your horse, measure the top of your horse wither to tail.
