Description
This bit is made of stainless steel and is designed never to rust, bend or break. It is different from other pelhams as the snaffle ring has been moved, to become a loose-ring connected via a figure of eight. The action of the snaffle rein is more like that of a double bridle bridoon. The french link is designed to suit the shape of the horse’s mouth. By allowing the horse to move it gently with his tongue, it reduces the amount of tongue pressure associated with the jointed mouths and encourages the horse to accept the bit. This bit is particular popular in the showing ring as an alternative to the double bridle.
