The European style Liberty Esl 3 Cu copper coated nail has a longer and thinner shank compared to regular E nails.
The E Slim nails are longer and thinner than a regular E nail – ideal for higher nailing of horseshoes with a V-shaped crease.
The Liberty E-CU range is based off the standard Liberty E range for healthy and strong hooves, however completed with the Cu Shield coating.
The coating around the nail provides more protection than a traditional steel nail and supports optimal hoof & horn health.
Additionally, the natural antibacterial effect of copper removes micro-organisms that enter the hoof wall through the nail holes.
Cu-E nails do not rust or wear off in the hoof wall overall, not compromising to the hoof’s natural health.
The strong and very sharp point of the nail avoids damage when penetrating the hoof wall, while assisting in precise nailing and pressure too.
The head of the nail flows nicely into the blade, ensuring the shoe can be attach optimally to the hoof.
